Former STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland was recently interviewed on Canada’s “The Todd Shapiro Show”… Asked for his opinion on the current terror threat to the world posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), Weiland said: “Fuck ISIS. And if they come after me, I’ll fucking pull out my Glock 17”

Weiland and his band THE WILDABOUTS are on the road promoting his new album, “Blaster”, which came out on March 31. The Band have had several lineup changes since last year, Weiland fired his longtime guitarist and business partner Doug Grean in early 2014, while drummer Danny Thompson left to focus on his work with the ALAN PARSONS LIVE PROJECT. Meanwhile, guitarist Jeremy Brown stepped up to take a bigger role following Grean’s dismissal, but Brown’s sudden passing in March forced the band to hire Nick Maybury.
